Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Coworking Tech Stack, including our editorial content, product showcase, newsletter, community features, member accounts, product submission flows, and paid plans.
Last updated: June 15, 2026. Effective date: June 15, 2026.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Coworkies Ltd, a United Kingdom company ("Coworkies", "Coworking Tech Stack", "we", "us", or "our"). By visiting, accessing, submitting content to, creating an account on, buying from, or otherwise using Coworking Tech Stack, you agree to these Terms.
If you use the platform on behalf of a company, sponsor, vendor, employer, or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation and that "you" includes that organisation where the context requires. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the platform.
2. What Coworking Tech Stack Is
Coworking Tech Stack is a year-round editorial, newsletter, community, and discovery platform for coworking technology. The platform includes articles, news, guides, category hubs, product and company profiles, people profiles, sponsor placements, member posts, bookmarks, product submission and editing tools, memberships, paid product profile options, and related admin/editorial workflows.
Coworking Tech Stack is related to the Coworking Tech Week event ecosystem, but it is not the same service. Coworking Tech Week has its own event flows, registration flows, event communications, terms, and privacy policy. Its privacy policy is available at www.coworkingtechweek.com/privacy/.
3. User Types and Permissions
Different parts of the platform are designed for different users, including:
- public readers and visitors;
- newsletter subscribers;
- Explorers Club members and other authenticated account holders;
- member post authors, bookmark users, and reporters;
- product submitters, vendors, brand owners, company admins, and product editors;
- paid members, supporters, sponsors, advertisers, and partners;
- authors, speakers, experts, operators, and people mentioned in content; and
- internal admins and editors.
Access to admin, editor, product, company, member, or paid features may depend on account status, role, membership, payment status, assigned permissions, review status, or our approval. We may grant, deny, modify, suspend, or revoke permissions where reasonably necessary to operate the platform, protect users, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.
4. Eligibility
The platform is intended for a professional audience. You must be at least 16 years old to use account, community, submission, or paid features. If you are using a paid feature or submitting content on behalf of an organisation, you must have legal authority to do so.
5. Accounts and Security
Some features require authentication, usually by email one-time code or magic-link style sign-in. You must provide accurate account information, keep your email account secure, and promptly tell us if you believe your account or permissions have been compromised.
You are responsible for activity through your account, including activity by teammates or contractors you authorise. Do not share admin, editor, product, or company access with unauthorised users. We may require re-authentication, remove sessions, limit access, or suspend accounts if we detect risk, misuse, fraud, abuse, or unauthorised access.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not use the platform to:
- break the law or violate another person's rights;
- submit false, misleading, defamatory, deceptive, unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
- impersonate another person or organisation, or misrepresent your relationship with a company or product;
- submit confidential information, trade secrets, personal data, payment card data, or sensitive information that you are not authorised to provide;
- upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities, bypass access controls, scrape protected areas, or interfere with platform security;
- spam, phish, harvest emails, send unsolicited promotions through the platform, or abuse member/community features;
- manipulate listings, reviews, metrics, bookmarks, reports, recommendations, or sponsorship disclosures;
- use automated systems to copy, scrape, mine, train, benchmark, or build competing directories, databases, models, or datasets from our content without written permission;
- remove copyright, trademark, attribution, sponsorship, or disclosure notices; or
- use the platform in a way that could damage Coworking Tech Stack, Coworking Tech Week, Coworkies Ltd, users, vendors, sponsors, or third parties.
7. Editorial Content and No Professional Advice
Our content is provided for general informational, editorial, and discovery purposes. It is not legal, tax, procurement, security, accounting, investment, compliance, insurance, or other professional advice. You should make your own assessment before relying on any product, vendor, sponsor, tool, guide, pricing information, comparison, claim, or third-party statement.
Product pages, company pages, people pages, sponsor pages, recordings, and category hubs may include submitted information, public information, editorial judgement, sponsor material, and links to third-party websites. We do not guarantee that content is complete, current, secure, available, error-free, or suitable for your specific use case.
8. Product Listings, Vendor Submissions, and Brand Pages
If you submit or manage a product, company, brand, or vendor profile, you confirm that the information is accurate, lawful, non-confidential, and that you have the right to provide it. You are responsible for keeping submitted information current and for obtaining any necessary permissions for logos, screenshots, videos, descriptions, claims, testimonials, links, names, and third-party materials.
Submission does not guarantee publication, placement, ranking, endorsement, review, traffic, leads, or commercial results. We may edit, format, reject, unpublish, archive, merge, categorise, correct, label, or remove product and company content at our discretion, including for quality, accuracy, legal, security, editorial, sponsorship, or platform integrity reasons.
Published vendor edits may go live immediately where the product workflow allows it. You remain responsible for the changes you make. We may review, reverse, correct, moderate, or remove changes if they breach these Terms, our editorial standards, or applicable law.
If a listing, product profile, sponsor placement, upgrade, or campaign is paid, promoted, sponsored, affiliate, partner-supported, or otherwise commercially influenced, we may label or disclose it where appropriate. Paid status does not guarantee editorial endorsement.
9. Community Posts, Profiles, and User Content
You may be able to create a public profile, publish community posts, add links, save private bookmarks, report posts, or submit other content ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for your User Content and for any consequences of publishing or sharing it.
You must not post content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, deceptive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, spammy, malicious, confidential, privacy-invasive, or otherwise unsuitable for a professional coworking technology community. We may moderate, hide, remove, edit, preserve, or disclose User Content where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, or operate the platform.
Public User Content can be indexed by search engines, copied by third parties, cached, archived, quoted, and shared outside the platform. Do not publish anything you are not comfortable making public.
10. Licence You Give Us
You keep ownership of content you submit, subject to rights held by others. By submitting, uploading, posting, sending, or making content available to Coworking Tech Stack, you grant Coworkies Ltd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable licence to host, store, copy, reproduce, edit, format, adapt, publish, display, distribute, promote, translate, create excerpts from, make derivative works from, and otherwise use that content for operating, improving, promoting, archiving, and providing Coworking Tech Stack and related Coworkies services.
This licence includes the right to use submitted names, company names, product names, logos, screenshots, images, descriptions, quotes, links, profile information, and other submitted materials in public pages, newsletters, social posts, search results, RSS feeds, previews, archives, sponsor materials, and promotional contexts connected to the platform. To the extent permitted by law, you waive and agree not to assert moral rights or similar rights that would interfere with this licence. Where those rights cannot be waived, you consent to our use as described here.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights needed to grant this licence and that your content does not infringe or violate any third-party rights or laws.
11. Our Intellectual Property
Coworking Tech Stack, Coworkies, our editorial content, design, code, brand assets, trademarks, databases, templates, layouts, classifications, taxonomies, graphics, and compilation of content are protected by intellectual property and other laws. Except as these Terms allow, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, commercially exploit, scrape, mirror, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from our platform or content without written permission.
You may link to public pages, quote short excerpts with clear attribution, and use our RSS or machine-readable files only in a fair, non-misleading, non-abusive way that respects any instructions we publish, including robots.txt, llms.txt, and similar notices.
12. Sponsorships, Advertising, and Commercial Relationships
Sponsorships, advertisements, paid placements, supporter plans, product upgrades, and partner campaigns may be subject to separate order forms, insertion orders, written agreements, campaign rules, or checkout terms. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed written agreement for a paid campaign, the signed agreement controls for that campaign.
We may reject or remove advertising, sponsorship, or paid placement content that we consider misleading, unlawful, low-quality, harmful, inconsistent with our editorial standards, or unsuitable for the platform.
13. Paid Plans, Subscriptions, and Refunds
Paid memberships, product profile upgrades, sponsorships, supporter plans, and other paid products may be billed through Stripe or another payment provider. Prices, taxes, billing intervals, plan features, cancellation terms, and renewal details are shown at checkout or in the relevant order page or agreement.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next renewal date. You are responsible for keeping billing information current and for paying applicable taxes. Stripe may provide receipts, invoices, billing portal access, and payment-method management under its own terms.
Unless a checkout page, membership page, order form, or signed agreement says otherwise, fees are non-refundable once the paid service, campaign, subscription period, or placement has started. Where the membership page offers a 30-day refund promise for eligible personal memberships, we will honour that promise according to the wording shown on that page. Statutory rights, if any, are not affected.
14. Email and Communications
If you subscribe to the newsletter, you agree that we may send you the Coworking Tech Stack newsletter and related updates until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email or by contacting us.
We may still send service, security, account, submission, moderation, billing, legal, and operational messages where necessary. Coworking Tech Week event communications are separate unless we clearly say otherwise.
15. Third-Party Services and Links
The platform may link to or use third-party services, including Supabase, Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend, Cloudinary, LinkedIn, Reddit, Coworking Tech Week, sponsor sites, exhibitor sites, video services, analytics tools, and other websites or APIs. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, privacy practices, terms, or decisions.
Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that third party's terms and privacy notice. Links do not imply endorsement unless we clearly say so.
16. Privacy and Cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Our Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies. By using the platform, you acknowledge those policies.
17. Copyright and Complaints
If you believe content on Coworking Tech Stack infringes your rights, is inaccurate in a materially harmful way, or unlawfully includes your personal information, contact team@coworkingtechstack.com with enough detail for us to understand and investigate the issue. We may ask for proof of identity, authority, ownership, or context before taking action.
We may remove, disable, correct, annotate, or decline to change content depending on the law, evidence, editorial context, public-interest value, contractual obligations, and rights of other people.
18. Availability and Changes
We may change, suspend, limit, discontinue, rename, move, or restrict any part of the platform at any time, including features, product categories, profile fields, member benefits, paid plans, APIs, pages, or content. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability.
Some features may be experimental, beta, invite-only, manually reviewed, or dependent on third-party providers. We may impose limits on storage, submissions, emails, API calls, media, accounts, or usage where reasonable.
19. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform and all content are provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all warranties, conditions, representations, and guarantees, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, quiet enjoyment, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not guarantee product outcomes, vendor performance, sponsor quality, commercial leads, newsletter growth, search ranking, traffic, revenue, data accuracy, security outcomes, compatibility, uptime, or that any third-party service will remain available.
20. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Subject to the sentence above, Coworkies Ltd and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, suppliers, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or loss-of-profit damages, or for loss of revenue, goodwill, data, business, opportunity, contracts, expected savings, or reputation, even if we were advised that such losses were possible.
Subject to the first paragraph of this section, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the platform or these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim arose; or (b) GBP 100.
21. Indemnity
If you are using the platform for business or on behalf of an organisation, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Coworkies Ltd and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, suppliers, and partners from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your use of the platform, your breach of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of third-party rights.
22. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the platform, accounts, features, listings, submissions, memberships, paid placements, or content if we reasonably believe there is a breach of these Terms, legal risk, security risk, non-payment, fraud, abuse, rights infringement, operational risk, or harm to users or the platform.
You may stop using the platform at any time. Certain provisions will survive termination, including sections about content licences, intellectual property, payments, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law, and any rights or obligations that by their nature should survive.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users, such as posting a notice or sending an email where appropriate. The updated Terms apply from the effective date shown at the top, unless the notice says otherwise. Your continued use after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
24. Governing Law and Courts
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from or related to them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law gives you mandatory rights to bring claims elsewhere.
