The content platform for Coworking Tech Week

A wide-angle view of a modern coworking space with members using laptops and tablets, showing digital screens, access control panels, and booking kiosks integrated into the workspace — representing the technology layer behind coworking operations

Coworking Tech Stack is the year-round content and community platform for Coworking Tech Week, started by Coworkies. We help coworking operators, workspace teams, founders, vendors, consultants, and curious industry people understand the technology shaping flexible workspaces.

Coworking has always been about more than desks. Behind every great space is a stack of tools, systems, workflows, automations, integrations, people, and decisions that make the experience work. Coworking Tech Stack is here to map that world.

We track the products, platforms, vendors, people, data, and signals shaping coworking technology, then turn them into useful briefings, guides, interviews, market maps, and community insights.

Why we exist

The coworking technology market is growing, but it is also fragmented. Operators are expected to make important technology decisions across bookings, billing, access control, CRM, member experience, community, marketing, automation, reporting, and integrations. Vendors are building fast. New tools appear constantly. Existing tools change. Categories overlap. Buying decisions are hard to compare.

Coworking Tech Stack exists to make that ecosystem easier to understand. Our goal is simple: to help the coworking industry make better technology decisions.

We do this by creating a trusted, practical, and independent resource for discovering tools, understanding categories, following market changes, and learning from the people building and using coworking technology.

Our mission

Our mission is to map, explain, and connect the coworking technology ecosystem. We help operators discover the tools powering modern coworking spaces. We help vendors explain where they fit. We help the wider industry see what is changing, what is emerging, and what deserves attention.

Through weekly briefings, product profiles, category guides, interviews, data, and community input, Coworking Tech Stack turns a fragmented market into a clearer field of knowledge.

Our vision

Our vision is to become the intelligence layer for coworking technology. We imagine a future where coworking operators can quickly understand what tools are available, what problems they solve, how they fit together, and what questions to ask before making a decision.

We imagine a market where good products are easier to discover, operators are better informed, and the coworking industry can learn from its own technology choices.

Coworking Tech Stack is built to become the place people go when they ask:

  • What tools are coworking spaces using?
  • What technology is changing the way flexible workspaces operate?
  • Which vendors should I know?
  • What should I consider before choosing a platform?
  • What are other operators learning?
  • What is coming next?

Built by Coworkies

The Coworkies founding team: Pauline Roussel and Dimitar Inchev at a coworking industry event, surrounded by workspace professionals and community builders

We are Coworkies, initiative we started in Berlin in 2015 to connect the global coworking community. Our work spans a job board, strategic consultancy, and community education, all built on our years of global research and hands-on industry experience.

Over the years, we've traveled to and researched more than 700 coworking spaces across more than 65 cities, building a deep understanding of how spaces operate, grow, hire, design experiences, and build communities.

That research has shaped our TwoFifty consultancy, job board, community management training, community retreats, events, the book about coworking Around the World in 250 Coworking Spaces, and industry initiatives like HackCoworking and the Community Managers Summit.

Coworking Tech Stack continues that same spirit, but with a sharper focus on technology.

Connected to Coworkies Labs

Coworking Tech Stack also grows from the mindset behind Coworkies Labs: our space to think, test, build, fail, and learn together with trusted partners. It is where we push the limits of our platform by investing time and resources into testing and building new ideas, that fuel our mission to "Make coworking better".

That experimental approach matters because coworking technology is not static. The best way to understand this market is not only to report on it, but to observe it, test ideas, ask operators what they need, listen to vendors, collect signals, and build useful resources in public.

Coworking Tech Stack is part publication, part research desk, part community signal system, and part industry map.

The home of Coworking Tech Week content

Coworking Tech Week brings operators, vendors, technologists, and workspace teams together around the future of technology in coworking. Our five-day event is dedicated to software demos, automation workshops, and conversations about the future of workspace tech.

Coworking Tech Stack is the content platform that keeps that conversation alive before, during, and after the event. Here, we collect the ideas, tools, people, questions, and insights that emerge from Coworking Tech Week and turn them into resources the whole industry can use.

This includes product profiles, event takeaways, vendor spotlights, operator questions, market maps, interviews, practical guides, and weekly intelligence for anyone following coworking technology.

The Explorers Club

The Explorers Club is our lightweight community for people who want to help map the coworking technology ecosystem. It is not another noisy online group. It is a simple way to stay informed, contribute signals, ask questions, share tools, answer polls, and receive early research.

Members help shape what we explore next. They can suggest products, submit vendor updates, share operator challenges, contribute anonymous stack insights, and take part in occasional briefings or roundtables.

The goal is to create a trusted feedback loop between operators, vendors, and industry observers — without losing editorial independence.
